Founded in 2010, KBIC Consulting was created to transform how business leaders receive insurance advice. After years in the industry, Andy Kaelin with the help of Rob Brogan saw the limitations of the traditional broker–client relationship. While challenges exist on both sides, a significant deficiency often lies with the client—not from a lack of intelligence, but because most business leaders simply lack the time, expertise, or desire to maximize their role in the partnership.
Although broker compensation structures can create challenges, it is ultimately the client’s inability to collaborate with and oversee service providers as peers that drives inefficiency in corporate insurance programs.
